I wanted to stop by and say that training is going well at the new location of Gentle Wind Dojo and we are practicing diligently what was taught to us at the clinic here over the summer. i am looking into studying martial arts and wanted to know if jiyushinkai is right for me. i have a military background and am a defensive minded person that is looking for the next step to bring balance to my life. i have tried jujitsu and shotokan karate as well as military martial arts training that i received while in my two and a half year tour in south Korea. so far the training that i have received has helped me understand certain parts of the arts but non of them have interest me beyond the self defense level. i am looking for an art that will push me and motivate me to that next level in my life as well as strengthen my body and mind.
